My First Trip to UK

It has been 12 months since I landed in UK. Thinking of my First trip to London. Started on August 15th 2004.. Seems like I got from Independence from my offshore work at last.. But i have land in UK on August 15... Itz all different feeling once I landed in the Heathrow Airport.. Size of the Airport..Flight every 30 Seconds... People say it is the busiest airport in the World... Got down from the plane.... I need to go to the Immigration desk now... There are 3 counters one for UK people, one for EU Country people and one for others... I need to go to the 3rd type of counter... When I landed, my Visa is valid for 1 month only... I informed the immigration authorities that I am going to stay for 1 month (But it is 1 year since I landed here now).... finished my formalities... didn’t have much problem... Now it is the time for me collects my luggage... I was guided by the signboards... This is really good... well organized... found my luggage... It is time for me come out of the Airport... Wow... The first thing that I saw once I am out after collecting my luggage, it really great... This society is really open.... They don’t care much on others... Being out of the conservative part of the world and seeing things like this is really different... This is game between lips of different people.... At last I am out... My eyes are wandering around looking for my friend who said he will pick me form the Airport... My search went for some 10 minutes. My friend found me now... Now it is the time for me to enter his car... reached his home.... Home looked different... It is a single house... it is going to be the home for me for next 1 week...Had my first taste of rice England now... and it is time for me go to the bed now after 12 hours of journey.. I am signing off now...
