Saddam's Execution

On getting up today morning, i switched on the TV. It is Cable News Network i am seeing now. There is a breaking news in the channel. Mr. Saddam was hanged to death. It is shocking. Being born in a country where Non Violence was thought from my baby school to college, i don't agree with the execution of Saddam.
Taking a life is not person will not absolve a person from all the crime he/she has done. Punishment has to be self realized by the person. This is what will absolve person from his crimes.
This treatment, taking life for a life, not only imprints a bad message to the young mind of children in the world but also justifies that killing a person is legitimate under the rule of dharma. The seed that we sow today, is what we are going to reap tomorrow. So we are trying to imprint into the minds of the young people that taking life for a life is correct. This will have a serious consequences in the world. So it is time for the world leaders to understand this simple logic and drive the world accordingly.
