Independence day in Home

Today is August 15, 2006. India’s 60th independence day. It is a holiday for me. My brother has gone to Thiruvendipuram. So I am alone today. Day started at 7.30 for me when one my friend called me. Then I started to slowly move myself and at last at 8, I am out of my bed. Since I need to cook for myself alone today, I planned to have a breakfast a bit late today( I am not making anyone to wait today for their breakfast). Then I slowly moved towards my laptop and book. For next 90 minutes spent some time with my book and then with my laptop. Now the time is 9.30. I am planning to have my breakfast. Went to the corner shop in Vannanthurai bus stop and got a packet of milk( 500 ml) and Hindu newspaper. It cost me rupees 10.25. Once I am back home, completed my morning activities and started preparing corn flakes. Last week I got a chocolate drink from Spencer Daily. Added the chocolate drink to the corn fake to add taste. These days I started to forget about my diet. Slowly going towards 75kgs. Then the day slowly progressed. Spend some time reading books and then watching Tamil movie. In between made my lunch. Time now is 5.00. Climate is very good now. It is windy outside. So decided to go to beach now. Loaded songs in Ipod and started moving towards Besant nagar beach.

Humidity is not bad. Didn’t felt tiered. Took some snaps and came back home. Once the way back, it started raining. It is raining daily in the evening in Chennai. Since in the weekdays I am always in office, I was missing this rain. Today at last got a chance to get enjoy evening rain in Chennai. Day is coming to an end now. Today is a different day for me. Amount of sentences I have spoken is less than the amount of words I typed in my keyboard. I haven’t seen TV today and enjoyed evening rain in Chennai. Hoping to have a different day like this in the days ahead.
